Darby Racing Syndications Country Championships aspirant SUPER EXTREME kicked off his campaign in the right manner with a winning run first-up in the 1100m BM74 at Dubbo Turf Club
This was the fourth career victory for the 5YO Extreme Choice gelding who was last spied running with merit against quality types in the Country Open ‘Barn Dance’ at Randwick in November.
That meant a rise in weight of 8.5kgs today which the gelding carried bravely coming wide with fitness on the soft side, set to peak with the future Qualifier in mind.
Jockey Ash Morgan was super effective bringing the horse into the race at the right time after settling back from a wide gate and coming to the very outside for a late diving and trying finish.
The result also brought up the second win for CCR with Leica Storm winning earlier in the day.
Congratulations go to all Super Extreme’s Darby Racing Syndications owners.
Thank you for your support and best of luck for the preparation ahead.
