TAIPAN LEGEND has done it again!
Simply too strong under a big weight over the Tamworth Jockey Club mile, the 5YO rolled into stride, took control in his accustomed front-running role and broke their hearts with sustained pressure.
It’s a third win at the track and trip and second on the bounce & underlines the authority and confidence he’s racing with when allowed to freewheel in front and kick away late.

A terrific afternoon for the stable was capped off with HALO PHENOMENA proving simply too strong over 1400m at Tamworth Jockey Club
Jumping from a wide barrier, the 4YO pushed forward to sit outside the leader and match the tempo. When asked to go at the top of the straight, he kicked clear with authority, showing real strength under a big weight to put the race beyond doubt.
The win adds further gloss to his record since joining the stable from Cody Morgan, having placed first-up before now winning twice since – both times under Nick Heywood, who made the trip north and capped off a memorable double on the day.
